● 內文簡介

When you’re a 12 year old klutz and someone tells you you’re super, it’shard to take them seriously. But this time they know better than you.

There is no one who is as clumsy as Sarah. After a particularly fluky high dive, Sara Adams is approached by a boy who tells her about an after school club. It’s called Learning to Fly – ‘Helping Students to Discover Their PowerWithin’. Sarah’s pretty insulted that he thinks she needs special help, but can’t argue with him – her klutziness is the cause of many epic fails.

When she gets to the club she’s told it’s a top secret training for superheroes! There is nothing super about Sarah, other than being super clumsy. But when her best friend’s life is in danger she finds out that maybe she’s hidden talents after all – talents hidden from everyone, even herself!

In book 2, as her alter-ego Miss Happ, Sarah is excited to continue her superhero training with her friends at Learning To Fly, though she wishes she could sometimes take the credit. But old enemy Tidal and young supervillain Thunder Boy both have their eye on stealing the Golden Surfboard from the upcoming surfing competition, and as if that’s not enough Sarah’s schoolyard nemesis Leo has decided to join Learning To Fly. Can she keep their secrets and save the day?

Readers of MY SISTER THE VAMPIRE and MONSTROUS MAUD will love Sarah's story! Who wouldn't want to think that underneath their ordinary exterior a superhero is waiting to pop out? Fun, lively and full of adventure SUPER SARAH will appeal to all readers aged 9-12.
