Sophia Bennett writes books for teens with a social conscience. She won the Times/Chicken House Fiction competition in 2009 with her first novel, Threads, set in London's fashion world, which tells the story of a young refugee who happens to be a genius designer. The two sequels were published in 2010 and 2011 and Threads has since been published in over a dozen languages. Sophia's YA fiction includes The Look, You Don't Know Me, The Castle and her latest romance, Love Song. She lives and writes in London.
