Harry's arch-enemy, Gestapo Lil, is back. After Harry and his aunts' gang of loveable thieves foiled the plans of her slimy accomplice Colonel Priestly last time around, they thought they were safe, for a while, But Gestapo Lil has other ideas – Harry put “Beastly” Priestly in jail, and now Lil's out for revenge...

With Priestly in prison, Lil's luxurious lifestyle is suffering. So when she discovers that crook Eddie Carver has stashed a fabulous treasure hoard somewhere in Britain, she's desperate to get her greedy little paws on the loot. Gestapo Lil and her cronies will do anything for that treasure – and only Harry and his friends are standing in their way...

 

Alan Temperley was born and educate in Sunderland. As a boy he played cricket and rugby, loved his pets, rode everywhere on his battered bike, enjoyed stories of adventure and sang in a big church choir. At sixteen he joined the Merchant Navy. Later he went to university and became a teacher in the Highlands of Scotland. It was there that Alan began to write. His work Has won many prizes, been televised and translated into a dozen languages. He has one son and lives in south-west Scotland.
