The great house has become a dangerous place since the master mysteriously vanished. Wolves prowl around in the snow outside, hungry and howling while inside the house the horrid Aphid Dunn has taken over.

Everything seems to be falling apart.

Esther and the boys are wondering if things can get any worse, when they discover a whole new world under the house. Could this be their last chance at freedom?

 

STEPHEN ELBOZ lives in Northamptonshire, and has had a variety of jobs, including being a dustman,a civil servant, and a volunteer on an archaeological dig. He now divides his time between teaching and writing. His first book, The House of Rats, won the smarties Young Judges prize for the 9-11 age category.
