Six magical tales accompanied by plenty of bird facts, to inspire the next generation of bird lovers!
Helped by a half wild parakeet and a magic book, a boy opens his little brother’s eyes to the wonderful kingdom of birds through tales of kindness and courage.
Two brothers sit on the balcony of their flat overlooking a park. Callum couldn’t be happier: he has his parakeet, Pedro, for company and his grandpa’s Big Book of Birds to read.
Shy Jonah is worried though: when he goes back to school, he will have to stand up and tell a story to his whole class. When Pedro flaps his wings and ruffles the pages of the book, Cal shares stories with Jonah about the birds Grandpa taught him to love.
From a northern island to a tropical cloud forest, twilit marshlands to epic migrations – the brothers fly on the wings of their feathered friends. But will Jonah find the courage he needs to speak up for himself?
