本書《交個朋友吧》(We’re Going to be Friends)以這首膾炙人口的歌曲的歌詞，經由才華洋溢的插畫家Elinor Blake的畫筆，運用黑、白、紅三種顏色作為主要色調，加入經典圖像與照片，以獨特迷人視覺設計，將歌詞中溫暖可愛的意境以充滿童趣的方式表現出來。創作出這部結合繪畫與音樂的繪本作品，以簡單、懷舊的氛圍喚起人們的童心。

 

傑克‧懷特(Jake White) 美國知名音樂家暨唱片製作人，榮獲12次葛萊美獎的肯定。他曾是「白線條樂團」(White Stripe)的主唱及吉他手，並被《滾石》雜誌選為「史上百大吉他手」之一。

Elinor Blake是一名插畫家、動畫師，童實她也以April March的藝名做音樂演出。
