美國知名童書作家瑪瑞琳‧辛格(Marilyn Singer) ，與創作過包括《西瓜籽》、《山姆第一名》(小魯出版)…等得獎兒童繪本的插畫家葛瑞格‧皮佐利(Greg Pizzoli)，首次攜手合作的兒童繪本系列，將以健康美味的水果為主題，同時要孩子們發揮想像力，透過每樣水果的顏色、形狀，重新賦予每樣東西全新的定義，讓平凡的日常事物，變得既新奇又有趣。

蘋果究竟是什麼？蘋果長在樹上，你可以從樹上將蘋果「摘」下來；你可以洗一洗、聞一聞，將蘋果榨成調味蘋果汁、聞聞用蘋果做成的甜派、將蘋果堆成小山，或是玩拋接遊戲…。但是千萬別忘了，蘋果是好吃又健康的水果。

葛瑞格‧皮佐利(Greg Pizzoli)得獎童書作家暨插畫家，同時也是一名絹印藝術家。曾入圍兩次「美國童書作家協會」藝術作品獎，更以兒童繪本《西瓜籽》(小魯出版)榮獲2014「美國蘇斯博士獎」
