Inspired by the true story of Enid Jones, a 58-year-old Welsh Granny who lost her home to gentrification, this poignant picture book tenderly explores themes of home, memory, and displacement. From tending to her strawflower to seeking one last chat with a gone neighbor, she gently honors the memories built in every corner.

With beautiful mixed-media illustrations, this touching book teaches children about love, loss, and the warmth of home.

Tzu-Chun Chang (張梓鈞) originally from Taichung, graduated from Cambridge School of Arts in a degree in Children’s Book illustration, and currently a freelance illustrator. In her spare time, she enjoys film watching, reading philosophy, and enjoy nature.

She wants to use illustration to present stories and emphasis human rights development and social issues to her readers.
