The Little Water Drop uses a whimsical fairy tale story to tell an epic journey of a water molecule.

In this story, the little water drop travels in three forms: gas, liquid, and solid. It also moves between the food chain of a bird.

The author uses majestic, intricate, and vivid scenes to portray the little water droplet’s adventures from a macroscopic and microscopic perspective. From a little water droplet’s adventure, it unveils the intertwining and invisible relationships in nature. Through this journey, it invites and enables children to reflect on our relationship with nature and discover how we are both similar to and distinct from the world we are surrounded by.

Mei-Shi Hsiao(蕭湄羲), born in 1974, loves eating, laughing, reading stories, and drawing. Currently has published illustrated books like Who Gets First Prize, Lying Bugs and Big and Little Waves.
