一部奇幻浪漫，關於熊孩子的床前故事——也許，我們都曾是大熊的後裔……

女孩烏蘇拉(Ursula)喜歡聽關於熊的故事，爸爸從很久很久前的故事開始說起。有許多人相信，今天所有的熊都源於夜空中的大熊座。熊隻們沿著陽光與月光編織成的銀線被送到地球上，開啟了不思議的生態冒險。

然而很少人知道的是，據說熊和人類曾經相愛，他們生下的熊孩子時而以熊的習性活著，時而以人類的姿態活著。對於生存在野外的他們而言，這是一項既可如熊一般捕魚，更可如人一般編織的生存絕技。

烏蘇拉聽了覺得神奇不已，她想知道，世界上還有熊孩子嗎？甚至，她能成為熊孩子嗎？此時爸爸告訴她一個祕密，雖然人和熊的生活早已各自獨立，但有的時候，有些熊孩子會溜到人類世界，和小朋友一起玩耍；也有的時候，在人類父母熄燈睡著以後，孩子會回到原始的熊群身邊一起在森林漫遊。

爸爸繼續說著熊孩子可能有的特徵，而每一項特徵，都像是烏蘇拉身上最美好的部分。夜深了，烏蘇拉在爸爸的懷裡沉沉睡去。明天，關於熊孩子的故事還會繼續。

 

Geoff Mead，作家、創作諮詢專家。除了童書，他的創作也包含成人書，如《Gone in the Morning》、《Coming Home to Story》、《Telling the Story》等等。 Mead創立了一間名為Narrative Leadership Associates的創作諮詢機構，幫助更多熱愛故事的人理解寫作與出版。他現居英國科茲窩(Cotswolds)一帶。

Sanne Dufft，德國得獎插畫家，代表作有《The Night Lion》，榮獲水晶風箏獎，另外她也曾獲童書作家、插畫家協會(SCBWI)歐洲作品集獎。Dufft的作品曾在德、美、加、荷、西、澳、羅馬尼亞等國出版。她現與丈夫和兩個年幼的孩子住在德國南部圖賓根。
