小怪獸很嬌小可愛、笑容滿面，還有一雙漂亮的眼睛、毛絨絨的身體。不過，有件事他必須告訴你，就是他也許不像外表那樣溫順，因為他有點霸道，所有人都必須聽他的！

這天是小怪獸的生日，好險好險，朋友們都友善地帶了禮物來，如此一來他應該不會生氣了。可是他不想把禮物分給任何人玩，「我的我的！都是我的！」，面對這樣不講理的他，朋友們開始感到有些無奈了。

Smriti Prasadem-Halls，得獎童書作家，作品被翻譯多達30種語言。Halls的作品風格大多溫馨有趣、節奏明快，字詞間帶著一點詩意，期盼給讀者帶來充滿希望的感覺。她著有《Not That Pet!》、《The Little Island》等作品，其中《The Little Island》入圍2020 Teach Primary Award決選，並為當年度The Little Rebels award優勝作品。Halls同時也是位經驗豐富的童書獎項評審，如Stratford Salariya Prize、Faber's FAB Award 等獎項。

Angela Rozelaar，英國童書插畫家。Rozelaar的繪畫天份曾施展於倫敦劇場、畫廊等地，而後她在小學的閱讀專案中，發展出了對繪本確切的興趣。2009年，Rozelaar正式成為自由插畫家，參與製作的繪本有《We’re Going on a Pumpkin Hunt!》、《Artsy Cats Board Book》、《Don’t Call Me Sweet!》等。
