謝麗爾·克萊（Cheryl B. Klein）最喜歡紀錄一年中的第一次經驗，尤其是天氣轉暖，春季脫掉夾克的第一天，夏季第一個霜淇淋，秋季在床上鋪的第一條毯子。她與丈夫和兒子住在紐約布魯克林，曾寫過兩本成人書和兩本兒童圖畫書。

秦倫（Qin Leng）是一位以兒童文學作品聞名的作家和插畫家。她畢業於梅爾霍普彭海姆電影學院，她的動畫短片和藝術作品曾獲得許多獎項。在她的職業生涯中，秦與世界各地的出版商合作，為圖畫書、雜誌和書籍封面繪畫插圖。她的繪作《橋本花，第六把小提琴》（Hana Hashimoto, Sixth Violin），入圍總督文學獎，並榮獲APALA最佳圖畫書獎，她與丈夫和兒子住在多倫多。
