繼感受節日快樂氣氛的《I Got the Christmas Spirit》和享受節拍律動的《I Got the Rhythm》後，作者Connie Schofield-Morrisone就開學日為莘莘學子加油打氣。

開學日到來，有無限求知慾的小女孩興奮地準備上學去。

「滋滋－」作響的太陽蛋作為開學日的早餐；匆匆趕上「轟轟－」駛進站的公車；聽著「鈴鈴－」的上課鈴聲；跟同學們在課堂上大聲朗誦「ABC－」與「123－」。

第一天的學校生活，隨著鐘聲再次響起而結束，小女孩奔向接她下課的父母懷抱，跟同學說再見，期盼明天在學校學到的新知識。

Connie Schofield-Morrisone是一位作家和企業家。她的作品包括獲選為2015年喬治亞人必讀書籍及Bank Street College of Education’s Best Books of the Year的《I Got the Rhythm》，以及榮獲2019年Bank Street College’s Best Books of the Year的《I Got the Christmas Spirit》。

Frank Morrison是一位屢獲殊榮的插畫家。他的作品包括榮獲2005年Coretta Scott King, John Steptoe獎的《Jazz Miz Mozetta》、榮獲2018年NAACP Image Award的《Clayton Byrd Goes Underground》和贏得2019年Society of Illustrators Original Art銀牌的《The Roots of Rap》。
