Lindsay Moore是一位藝術家和作家。在長島的Suithampton College學習海洋生物學與藝術，並於紐約藝術學生聯盟學習人物畫，又在佐治亞州醫學院（Medical College of Georgia-Augusta University）獲得醫學與科學插畫碩士學位。本書為她所創作的第一本繪本。
