Ben Reed has mixed cocktails all the world, including stints in Hong Kong and south Africa. In 1997 he was named Cocktail Bartender of the Year in a competition sponsored by Absolut Vodka. Former bar manager of the fashionable Met Bar and woody's in London he now works as a bar consultant for IPBartenders. Ben has made several TV appearances and starred in series shaker Maker for the BBC.

His popular colmn 'Barfly' ran in The Times Magazine and he has been featured in a wide range of publications -including Vogue. Red and GQ. His first book, the phenomenally successful Coo/ Cocktails.
