This year, the Sunday Times named him one of the most influential people in science and medicine in the UK.
Donal O’Neill is an independent documentary filmmaker and better-health activist. A former international track and field athlete, Donal’s passion for health and human performance resonates throughout his films. His debut feature length documentary Cereal Killers (2013) was tipped as one of the top 10 independent movies that could change the world and the sequel – Run on Fat (2015) – has been billed as the future of sports nutrition. In 2015, he joined forces with Dr Malhotra to make The Big Fat Fix (2016). Donal has been featured by the New York Times, the BBC, SKY News, The Times of India and the British Journal of Sports Medicine, among others.
