《好想睡的魔法》結合冥想、想像力、肯定法、想像力與關鍵的呼吸技巧,提供適合3-10歲的兒童與家長簡單的睡前固定步驟,圍繞著五個C(calm, connect, conscious, core desires, create),以及五步驟:

1.隨機選取引導句紙牌[非必要]
2.問孩子:今天什麼事情最讓你感到自豪?
3.呼吸技巧
4.讀冥想故事
5.關上孩子的能量中心(Chakras/脈輪)

書中附有幾個範例故事,但只要了解冥想故事的結構,你可以將故事中的元素自由代換成孩子喜歡的地點、物件、動物等,讓故事有效且變化無窮。假使孩子在冥想步驟結束前已經睡著(可喜可賀!),仍要繼續完成所有步驟,因為你的話語將會深印在孩子的潛意識,留下影響力。
