被認為是消失的「異端」的猶太基督教，是基督教和伊斯蘭之間奇妙的聯繫？！



當雷薩．阿斯蘭（Reza Aslan）的暢銷書《革命份子耶穌》（Zealot）在2013年出版後，有批評指阿斯蘭在他寫基督教起源的故事時，忽略了穆斯林信仰。本書作者Mustafa Akyol正為此而創作本書。《The Islamic Jesus》揭示有關伊斯蘭教的真相和早期基督教的起源之間的聯繫。



本書不僅告訴讀者有關耶穌和他母親馬利亞的故事，還有古蘭經的解說，並探討拿撒勒的伊斯蘭圖像與預先存在於基督教源起之間的共通點，特別是在《新約外傳》（Apocrypha），伊斯蘭教和被早期教堂視為「異端」的「猶太基督敎」（Jewish Christianity）之間有著極為相似之處。
