Sarah Forbes Stewart holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and was a UNESCO City of Literature Writer-in-Residence in Krakow in 2017. She is a Keats-Shelley Prize finalist and the winner of the 2019 Callum Macdonald Award. Currently Director at The Lighthouse Literary Consultancy, Sarah was Fiction Editor at Scholastic Children’s Books and Senior Editor at Floris Books, and has written for Time Out, The Herald and The Guardian, among others. Her children’s books are published by Stripes under the pseudonym Sarah Forbes. She lives in Edinburgh and is a big fan of pickled food and garish vintage clothing.
