一部經典醫學小說！​

11世紀的波斯，一位英國人Rob Cole當時約10多歲母親得了腹症死亡，兩妹妹被別人收養，家中財物被分刮唯獨這小孩沒人要，當時巧遇猶太人Barber，兩人是師徒，也情同父子，在他學了一身外科醫療後，他發現阿維森納（Ibn Sina）會更棒的內科醫學，於是想精易求精，告別了養父師父。
